Dianne Moran-Naturalist View
- Madame Rosa’s Museum of Natural Oddities
Performance
A live animal program showcasing a historic period of the late 1800s when Circuses and Dime Museums traveled the countryside with amazing animal wonders. Such extraordinary stars from the time were the giant elephant, Jumbo and Gargantua, the enormous gorilla. While Jumbo and Gargantua belong to another age, Madame Rosa (an alter ego of Dianne’s in period dress) promises to astound the audience with her dazzling array of slithering serpents, plus other scaled and furred marvels from around the world.
Lively participation keeps the audience squealing with delight as they volunteer to hold a huge albino python or the strange creatures from Africa, Asia, Australia, South America or a few good ole Missouri critters. An ornately designed display of animal bio facts is included for audience viewing at the program’s conclusion.
